the blade that came with my circular saw lasted about 35 minutes, and this diablo blade took over and is still going strong several days later. Any time you can cut 1/16" off the end of a 2x4 and can actually pick up the 1/16th inch piece of wood when you are done, you know you are using a very good blade. I used this blade for framing my basement.
Highly recommended. The best circular saw blade I've used: fast, smooth cuts in a variety of woods and OSB.
Thin kerf is great. ( p.s. If you have ever cut your own stair stringers, you know what pain it can be. I bought a really inexpensive circular saw ( 60$) and used this blade. - Samurai sharp.I no longer fear my circular saw. Very high quality. That's a clue to high quality metal work.
I highly recommend this blade. Cuts right thru 2x10 stock, right on the mark.Just go at a speed that doesn't hog the blade.
And it's made like a piece of jewelry. If you are a crafts person, this is the way to go.
I was always scared of circular saws, but didn't want to use a Japanese pull saw on 2 long sets of stringers-been there, done that. You don't need bulk in the blade, it's so well balanced.
I'm a woman wood worker). Makes it like a high quality saw.very quiet, very smooth very controllable and accurate. The blade is one of the few that are not made in China.it's made in Italy.
And it rings when you tap it.
Not only did it make the cut effortlessly it was noticeably quieter (though you still need ear plugs if you don't want to do deaf prematurely). It has a tinny kerf which worried me for longevity, but so far it still cuts like new. I replaced a factory Ryobi blade that was very old and had cut cut into a few non wood things, it was so old it would smoke when I cut anything. The cut was so easy i had to relearn how to stay on the line because the cutting goes FAST. This is without question the only saw blade I will ever buy again. So i broke down and bought this blade thinking I was buying for the hype and pretty red paint (even though it was only a couple bucks more than the cheep blades I expected a top performance for my money). I was absolutely AMAZED.
This blade works exactly as advertised. Went out and bought this blade, put it on my $40 circular saw.and ripped right through the top boards and the 2x10 trusses like butter. I have to help some family to remove a deck. I tried to rip through the top layer with the blade that came with the saw, it did OK for the first 20 boards, then just couldn't do anything.
